Nestled on the bustling Gedimino pr. in the heart of Vilnius, Depeche Coffee Roasters stands as a vibrant café that seamlessly merges the love for coffee with the joy of reading. Located within the stylish bookstore VAGA, this café not only delivers exceptional brews but also offers an inviting atmosphere that feels like a cozy retreat for both locals and travelers alike.

As you step inside, the warmth and charm of Depeche envelop you. The delightful aromas of freshly ground coffee beans waft through the air, inviting you to explore their extensive menu. Coffee aficionados will delight in the variety available, from traditional espresso to innovative matcha lattes, each made with high-quality, plant-based milk that vegans will appreciate. The atmosphere is bustling yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a quick pick-me-up or a leisurely afternoon spent leafing through the pages of a newly purchased book.

Real customer experiences paint a lovely picture of what to expect at Depeche. Leja Petrauskaite describes it as "a very cozy coffee shop" with some of the best coffee in the city. Her praise for the establishment's aesthetic and variety makes it clear why this spot has garnered such loyal customers. Meanwhile, Rachael Hemmer raves about the café’s offering of "real" coffee, complemented by delicious pastries like the fresh Napoleon with raspberries—a delightful treat to enjoy with your caffeine fix.

Even simple orders yield joy here; Samuel shares how he savored a croissant filled with raspberry and white chocolate that he found utterly delicious. Commentary from Randall Jackson adds a dash of humor, with a mention of a friendly Labrador who made his visit even more pleasant while he enjoyed his cappuccino by the window—a perfect spot for people-watching.

The café's inviting space is adorned with comfortable seating, making it a great meeting spot or a tranquil place to enjoy some alone time. Justin Hammond notes how well-priced their offerings are compared to other cafes in the area, although he had a minor hiccup with a chocolate chip muffin that he felt could have been fresher. Overall, the consensus is clear—Depeche Coffee Roasters offers a unique experience that ties together great coffee with the literary charm of its bookstore setting.

Whether you are a dedicated coffee lover in search of your next favorite blend or simply looking to unwind with a good book and a tasty treat, Depeche Coffee Roasters at the VAGA bookstore is an essential stop on your Vilnius adventure. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in their exquisite offerings while soaking up the artistic ambiance and friendly atmosphere—the perfect blend for a memorable café experience!

It is a very cozy coffee shop located in a bookstore which is a very unique and very aesthetic idea. The coffee is very good, one of the best in the whole city. This place has a lot of different coffeeoptions Matchaand other drinks, and they use good quality plant-based milkwhich as a vegan, I appreciate very much. But because it is located in the center of Gediminas street it is usually crowded with people and it is hard to get a place to sit, and it is not cheap, but overall I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

Cosy cafe attached to a bookshop. I was craving a 'real' coffee, and they delivered! Decaf available too. There are a few pastries and sandwiches in the cabinet - I had a fantastic Napoleon with nice fresh raspberries.

Caffeteria connected to a bookstore. Coffe was great, the croissants had a lot of filling - raspberry and white chocolate, and they were delicious.

I went in thinking I would hear Depeche Mode music but instead had a cappuccino and a visit by a friendly labrador retriever :) i sat by the window to watch people walk by. It was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced for a capital city. I think was 2.70 Euro for a small. There's a bookshop inside and they have a good selection of souvenirs. I didn't have any food but it looked good. And they have 2 vintage stained glass windows in the back.

Great little coffee shop with nice tables and chairs. Their matcha latte is really good. Not too sweet and everything is better priced that Caffeine. The only thing I got that I didn’t like what the chocolate chip muffin. It was hard and clearly was a day or two old.

My favourite spot in Vilnius. First, the girl who works there is always nice and welcoming. Second, the music there is perfect, its very calm. Third, its comfy and cozy there. Big plus, they’ve got a lot of sockets so it is nice to bring your laptop there and study/work. AND OF COURSE COFFEE IS VERY TASTY and well done.
